Construction of the Succession stage by YRD.works for Horst Arts and Music. Planned to be ready for next year’s festival, the stage consists of a wooden floor combined with a metal structure and steel grids on which plants will gradually grow, creating a green scenography. Succession takes its name from the natural process of ecological succession, where nature slowly reclaims and transforms a space over time.
The construction process began with cutting and positioning the wooden beams to create the floor structure. Afterwards, the metal grids were selected and cut, reusing materials recovered from a previous stage project.
Once the floor was secured, work began on grinding the metal structure to prepare it for welding the grids. The grids were then positioned as walls and ceiling elements, followed by the final welding process.
